Well, I have started this blog, so I suppose it is time I actually post something. It seems mostly what is on my mind today is change. How quickly things do change. I can remember when I was small and the days seemed to last forever and things didn't seem to change so quickly. I was talking with a friend today (she knows who she is) about the old neighborhood I lived in growing up. I had so much fun there and have so many fond memories. I have been so blessed in my life to have an amazing family. My parents are wonderful and I couldn't have asked for anything better in them. So many friends and loved ones. I guess today I am thinking mostly that I hope I give my girls all that I had growing up. I hear so many people say that they want for their kids what they didn't have. I see that too, but at this moment I just want them to have all the wonderful times like I had playing with friends and being with family. I couldn't have asked for more. Now, I am experiencing the change in my girls. They are growing so quickly. I try to cherish all the moments with them, but sadly I know they will slip from my memory too. More change. I will grow old and won't be able to remember all that I think I will. I need to try to embrace these changes and accept them, so that I can enjoy each stage of their life, no matter how hard it is to see them grow and slowly leave our nest.
